Howard Graff joined Dickstein Shapiro as a partner in 2001 and serves as the head of the Firm’s Business Litigation Practice. Mr. Graff’s practice consists mainly of complex litigation, most often involving disputes over a substantial business transaction or a challenged trade and/or business practice. He has handled cases throughout the country, in federal and state courts, and also has extensive experience in arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Graff also has handled high-profile, industry-wide matters, such as actions challenging the authority of the government to restrict operations of a cable television operator. Recently, he argued in the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey – representing the State in a constitutional challenge to the issuance of bonds that were to be securitized by the proceeds of a newly enacted cigarette and motor vehicle tax.
