Dickstein Shapiro is committed to the advancement of women in the legal marketplace. The Firm’s commitment to advancing womens’ issues in the legal industry consistently has been recognized. In 2006, Dickstein Shapiro’s Chairman Michael Nannes received the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia’s “Star of the Bar” award for improving the professional lives of women attorneys by encouraging their development and retention.
