Summer Associates are hired through the on campus interview process, job fairs, and various resume collections. If these initial introductions result in a callback invitation, our Attorney Recruiting Department will work with you to coordinate a convenient time for you to visit the Firm’s Washington or New York offices, depending on your primary office interest. Out of town students will be reimbursed for reasonable travel expenses. If it is your desire to combine interviews with more than one firm in a single trip, we will be willing to share costs with the other firm(s). Our travel agency will be happy to assist you with your travel arrangements.
In a typical callback interview, you will meet with four to six attorneys. If you have a specific question or area of interest you would like to discuss, please let the Attorney Recruiting Department know when scheduling your interviews.
Offers are made on a rolling basis, throughout the interview season. Students are typically notified about offer decisions within two weeks of the callback interviews.
The Firm adheres to the NALP offer guidelines regarding the timing of offers and decisions, except for students whose law schools have an alternative policy, due to the timing of their interview season.
The guidelines can be reviewed at this link:
